Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes we absolutely love to shoot Over seas weddings - so far we have shot weddings in Australia, New Zealand, Bali, Italy, Greece and Canada. Please let us know about your destination wedding plans and we can give you more details X
Will there be a second shooter?
For our combined Photo and Film packages we always have two shooters - one on film and one on photos. For all other packages we only include one shooter as we like the be as discreet as possible and let the day flow as it would without us being there. If you are interested in a second shooter for your day though just let us know and we can inform you on the additional price for the particular package you have booked.
Do you work with other photographers/ videographers?
Yes of course! Even though we offer both photography and videography we understand you might have your heart set on another vendor - We love meeting new people in the wedding industry and work well along side other teams.
How many people work for xox weddings
We have a small team of 5 wedding creatives. 3 photographers and 2 cinematographers. 2 of us are also the creatives behind your wedding films and photo edits.
Do I have to order prints through you?
You certainly can order prints through us however you will be given all your photos in the highest resolution so you can do what ever you like and print where ever you like :)
Where are you based?
We are based on the Sunshine Coast in QLD and frequently shoot weddings between here and Byron Bay. We are always willing to travel where ever the wedding takes us and love capturing destination weddings and elopements.
What is the bet time for our photo session on the day
Ideally we love to capture the bridal party and couple portraits in the hour leading up to sunset. This is the "golden hour" when you will get those beautiful warm images! Most couples time thier day around this so we can shoot in that golden hour. We understand it's not always possible to shoot during this time at weddings for different reasons (day light savings or middle of summer weddings) but if the schedule allows it we will try and steal the bride and groom away from the reception for 15 minutes or so during this time to capture a quick couple. Don't worry if your day doesn't allow this though, we can always get gorgeous photos and footage at any time of the day!
What is your teams approach to weddings?
We have a very unobtrusive and casual approach when documenting weddings, ideally we love the day to flow as it would with out us being there so that we can capture all that gorgeous candid raw love! We will however of course give direction where needed and place you in the correct spots if its going to make the shot - if your feeling a bit on the shy side and need more direction and help we will be there for whatever you may need :)
Can we add more hours to our package?
Yes you sure can - we offer additional coverage for all the deluxe packages however the short and sweet packages are max 4 hours.
